The Senior Manager, Central Transformation, is a key leader responsible for operationalizing the enterprise-wide process transformation strategy. This role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of standardized methodologies, tools, and best practices for process optimization across the organization. They will manage a portfolio of enterprise-level transformation programs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to the technical vision, ultimately driving significant and measurable improvements across the Industrial System.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 8-12+ years of progressive experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or business transformation roles within a large organization, with a focus on developing and deploying enterprise-wide standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex process improvement programs.
- Deep Expertise in Process Improvement Methodologies: Proven mastery and practical application of Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Program & Project Management: Strong capabilities in leading and managing complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs from conception through completion.
- Methodology Development & Deployment: Demonstrated experience in developing, standardizing, and successfully deploying process improvement methodologies and tools across diverse organizational functions.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, influence stakeholders at various levels, and drive adoption of new standards.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to lead teams through influence, mentor practitioners, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex process challenges and developing scalable, practical solutions.
- Change Management: Strong understanding and application of change management principles to drive adoption of new methodologies and ways of working.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment: Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across organizational silos to achieve common goals.

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $138,240-$261,720.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
What you'll do...
- Process Engineering Methods & Standards Leadership: Lead the development, refinement, and deployment of enterprise-wide process engineering methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, process automation standards).
- Waste Inventory & Program Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of cross-functional operational transformation programs, ensuring alignment with central strategic objectives, efficient resource allocation, and successful execution of improvement initiatives.
- Technical Standards Implementation & Adherence: Ensure the implementation and adherence to established technical standards and roadmaps for process optimization and digital transformation across various projects and business units.
- Internal Consulting & Support: Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, consultation, and direct support to dedicated transformation teams and operations on the application of central methodologies and best practices.
- Capability Building & Training: Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs, coaching, and knowledge sharing initiatives to build organizational capability in process transformation and continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the effectiveness and adoption of central methodologies and the progress of enterprise-wide programs, providing data-driven insights to the Chief Process Engineer.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various stakeholders across the organization, including dedicated teams, IT, and business leaders, to ensure seamless integration and widespread adoption of central transformation approaches.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks associated with large-scale transformation efforts and complex system integrations.
