Lead Ford China Intelligent Cockpit Platform Development & Evolvement Delivering Customer Wants with Most Efficient Design for in-flight programs.

  • Lead Ford China Intelligent Cockpit Platform Development & Evolvement Delivering Customer Wants with Most Efficient Design for in-flight programs.
  • Take Control over Intelligent Cockpit Platform hardware and foundation software Design for infotainment system (Hardware/Core Audio/ SW Architecture etc.)
  • Lead and oversee successful launch of new programs, in- fight programs, including feature/SW change management, development, and critical issue resolution
  • Lead modules design, development and validation through launch including IVI/display/HUD/Cluster/DSP/LVDS & Mic etc.
  • Build Core Engineering Competence and Drive Excellence In Key Areas – System Performance, SW architecture, Audio System, Location Service, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to govern Feature & Software Change management, achieving engineering efficiency by prioritizing & eliminating waste (low customer value addition/changes)
  • Build & Grow Team to Support Import & Export Business - Lead Engineering Application & deployment of Global infotainment system including IVI and DSP. 

Qualifications Required: 

Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive or Electrical Engineering or related discipline (i.e. Computer Engineering, software engineering)

Criteria:

  • Have expertise of system view to Intelligent Cockpit Platform hardware architecture include IVI/display/HUD/Cluster/DSP/LVDS, Mic, etc.
  • Have expertise of system view to Intelligent Cockpit Platform software architecture include Core Audio, foundation SW Architecture, etc.
  • Have expertise in system/software/component design and development methodologies
  • Have excellent problem-solving, leadership and influence skills.
  • Have capability to build strong connection & good network with global engineering match pairs.
  • Have expertise of EE system interface with other modules.
  • Have expertise of EE module design details – hardware, software, Netcom.
  • Have knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other protocol.
  • Able to provide an architecture level sensitivity analysis with system engineering team. 
  • Able to assess/analyze with feature integration and functional partitioning strategies and provide optimal design.

Experiences/competencies expected to be developed while in position.

  • Empowers direct reports and provides them with opportunities and latitude to manage their work.
  • Strength in leading and motivating teams.
  • High Program management skill for multi-country, multi-program and multi-vender.
  • Delivery Intelligent Cockpit launch for Import/Export program in challenge situation.
  • Compliance with safety regulations and standards
