Enterprise Architect shapes Ford Digitization journey, through strategic roadmaps and innovative technical solutions by leveraging Ford’s expertise and industry perspective across the enterprise. The role demands to be Techno-Functional experience supporting through different architecture layers such as:

Engagement

Functional: Business / Data / Information Architecture

Engages during strategic phases of SDLC (ID-Assess-Analyse) to define Strategy & Concepts (WHAT): Develops future state of an enterprise’s business processes, technology, and information by defining actions required, generating overall portfolio/product roadmap and providing standards & guidelines to shift from the current state to the desired future state.

Technical: Solution / Application Architecture

Engages during implementation phases of SDLC (Build-Test-Implement-Support) defining technical solution and approach to develop the strategy & concept (HOW): Perform PoC, define solution/integration designs, consider security aspects, provide consultation to product teams and resolve issues.

The core area to support is - Global Order To Delivery / Order Fulfilment (Sales & Marketing)

The work is global in scope which will give the opportunity to collaborate with business partners, architects, product owners, product managers, and product designers around the world. As well provides avenue to develop working relationships with Enterprise Architecture broader teams, product teams, skill team and management.

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Comp Science or related stream

• Candidates should have 7+ year IT experience covering:

3+ year on related business/IT including progressive experience in the architecture or engineering space with hands on Business Analysis and/or Product Design & Management

• 4+ year Technical experience in application development and support

• Recent 2-3 years role as Product Anchor or Enterprise Architect

• Strong Business Acumen in end to end supply chain management of Vehicle Sales & Production Planning & Vehicle Order Fulfilment, its associated business capabilities and solutions

• Certification: TOGAF / Any cloud Architecture

• Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions Knowledge of EA Modelling tools

• Experience creating and using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect and aggregate business capabilities Expertise with Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman

• Expertise in creating business flows, business capability mappings, Blueprints , E2E Landscape Views

• Work experience on data modelling tools and techniques

• Good knowledge / Hands-On development experience on multiple technologies (esp. Java/Cloud technologies esp. Angular/REACT, CloudSQL-PGSQL, Reporting tools) and patterns, related architecture including: Cloud hosting (GCP), APIs/micro services and integration of solutions

• The drive to follow an idea to its logical conclusion and ability to present to management in a clear and concise manner.

• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Others:

Good exposure working on presentation/Data analysis tools like MS-Powerpoint/MS-Excel/Visio tools

• Create conceptual architecture design proposals from business requirements

• Evaluate NFRs and determine appropriate design patterns for the solution

• Translate design proposal into proof of concept with hands on development work as required

• Supports creation of Application Integration Models and govern on interoperability mechanism

• Ensures actual solutions meet the conceptual design and aligns with strategic objective

• Guide/Support product teams around the micro service architecture and other IT-operational processes

• Provides support to product teams on application performance issues

• Support vendor solution evaluation processes

• Collaborate:

• Engage with the Product teams / Business teams and document related business processes

• Guide and coordinate with Product Anchors on designing the solution for the requirements

• Be a key member of a product team participating in their agile ceremonies
