Ford Motor Company is seeking a UX Prototyper to join our Digital Product Design team. This role bridges the gap between design and technology, requiring a highly technical individual with a strong eye for design. The UX Prototyper will collaborate closely with designers to prototype and test new concepts, with a focus on integrating cutting-edge AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into software solutions that enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and concepts into interactive prototypes.
• Develop prototypes ranging from low-fidelity mockups to high-fidelity, functional interfaces.
• Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into prototypes to explore advanced user interactions and personalized experiences.
• Conduct usability testing and refine prototypes based on user feedback and research insights.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and researchers, to align prototypes with project goals.
• Create animations, micro-interactions, and videos to demonstrate design concepts effectively.
• Stay updated on emerging AI/LLM technologies and their applications in UX design.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Protopie) and animation tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and interaction design.
• Experience with integrating AI/LLMs into applications.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for building functional prototypes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in an agile environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
