🚀 The Opportunity

As a Deal Operations Specialist at Flywire, you will help power our commercial engine by executing clean, compliant quotes and ensuring smooth, seamless quote-to-order workflows ⚙️. You will apply defined pricing frameworks and CPQ processes with precision, escalate exceptions when required, and maintain high data integrity across systems to support accurate forecasting and revenue recognition 📊.

You will also play an important role in removing friction for sellers by streamlining workflows, leveraging automation, and reducing manual effort wherever possible 🤖. By improving speed, consistency, and process discipline, you’ll enable Sales to focus on closing business while ensuring Flywire scales efficiently and predictably 📈.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in structured environments, values operational excellence ✨, and takes pride in enabling scalable, predictable revenue execution.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Support Sales by executing accurate, compliant quotes using Salesforce and CPQ tools, ensuring speed, consistency, and data integrity from quote to order 📑.

  • Apply established pricing, packaging, and discount frameworks to opportunities, ensuring deals align with approved policies and guardrails 🛡️.

  • Review and maintain clean data in Salesforce to support forecasting, reporting, and revenue recognition; Flag issues early to prevent rework or downstream billing issues 🔍.

  • Partner with sellers to answer tactical questions on quoting mechanics, product configuration, term structure, and renewals based on defined standards 🤝.

  • Escalate deals that fall outside approved pricing or policy frameworks to ensure compliance 🚩.

  • Collaborate across teams (Revenue Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal, and Enterprise Systems) to continuously improve quoting workflows and process efficiency 🌐.

  • Contribute to documentation, templates, and playbooks that help sellers self-serve more effectively over time 📚.

What You Bring 💡

  • Experience: 1–3 years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations. If you love data and processes, this is for you! 📈

  • Tech Savvy: Working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM) is a must. Experience with CPQ? That’s a huge gold star!

  • Attention to Detail: You have a "hawk eye" for errors and can manage multiple quotes simultaneously without breaking a sweat, even when deadlines are tight 🦅.

  • Good Judgment: You know how to follow the rulebook, but you also have the intuition to know exactly when a deal needs to be escalated 🚦.

  • Communication Skills: You are a clear and professional communicator. You can translate complex requirements into simple steps for our Sales team 🗣️.
