• Design, build, and optimize robust, reusable, and scalable data pipelines and transformations (using dbt, SQL, and cloud data warehouse technologies).
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data ingestion and with analysts to enable self-service analytics.
• Develop and maintain well-documented data models, definitions, and metadata to ensure data consistency and transparency.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into high-quality analytical datasets.
• Implement and maintain data quality checks, testing frameworks, and monitoring processes.
• Support performance optimization across ETL/ELT processes and query execution.
• Drive best practices in data governance, version control, and documentation within the analytics engineering team.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows and standards.

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt).
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks). Big Query preferred.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., Kimball, Data Vault, or modern ELT architectures).
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience implementing CI/CD practices in data environments (e.g., Git-based workflows, testing frameworks).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode).
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
• Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security principles.
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
