Job Description:
The Role
Are you motivated by uncovering user insights and shaping digital experiences that make a measurable impact? Do you thrive at the intersection of research, strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration? In this role, you will help inform the UX vision across highly visible Fidelity Institutional marketing websites—informing strategic decisions and elevating digital interactions that support our clients and business outcomes. Join us and help shape the future of how institutional clients engage with Fidelity.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Your background includes conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, competitive assessments, heuristic evaluations, journey mapping, and persona development. You can interpret website analytics to identify user needs and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
You are skilled at creating or informing the development of UX artifacts—such as wireframes, journey maps, and user flows—and you can support end‑to‑end validation activities, including designing studies, building research in various platforms, and coordinating participant recruitment. Your strong synthesis and communication skills enable you to share insights in clear, accessible formats for a range of audiences.
You collaborate successfully with business partners, product owners, designers, and analytics partners to clarify goals and inform experience strategy. Experience working in digital marketing, personalization, or lead‑generation environments is valuable, as is proficiency in tools like Figma and having a talent for rapidly learning new research platforms. A degree or equivalent experience in UX, HCI, or a related field supports your success in this role.
The Team
Our Digital User Experience team is part of the Fidelity Institutional Marketing organization, supporting a broad range of institutional clients—including consultants, defined benefit and defined contribution plan sponsors, endowments, and financial advisors. We design and optimize digital experiences that showcase Fidelity’s extensive investment management capabilities.
We are committed to a culture of learning, mobility, and collaboration. We work closely with partners across marketing, product, technology, and analytics to deliver relevant, data-based digital experiences. We strive to cultivate an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and where our people can grow, contribute, and make an impact.
Note:
Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
The base salary range for this position is $85,000-171,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
We offer a wide range of benefits to meet your evolving needs and help you live your best life at work and at home. These benefits include comprehensive health care coverage and emotional well-being support, market-leading retirement, generous paid time off and parental leave, charitable giving employee match program, and educational assistance including student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, and learning resources to develop your career. Note, the application window closes when the position is filled or unposted.
Please be advised that Fidelity’s business is governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities and the rules and regulations of numerous self-regulatory organizations, including FINRA, among others. Those laws and regulations may restrict Fidelity from hiring and/or associating with individuals with certain Criminal Histories.
