The Role

Join us as an Audit Senior Analyst within our Professional Practices Group and be part of an ambitious team dedicated to delivering audit quality excellence, innovative methodologies, and trusted guidance that strengthens our firm’s assurance practices. Fidelity Corporate Audit is committed to crafting a world-class audit experience, and your expertise will help us achieve our goals and improve performance. Your responsibilities include supporting our audit methodologies and processes to uphold our standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting audit teams by reviewing reports, executive summaries, and Team Mate+ data before issuance, while addressing questions and updating guidance to minimize repeat inquiries

  • Provide training and guidance to the department regarding Audit’s policies, procedures, and the IIA standards

  • Guide Auditors in their use of Team Mate+, JIRA, and Archer, and identify and escalate enhancements that will improve department efficiency and effectiveness

  • Develop and update Audit methodology, communicate effective guidance and training, and integrate Innovation Team tools

  • Assist in the provision of methodology training to auditors, including tailored training as needed

  • Identify and contribute to the development of continuous improvement opportunities

  • Provide ad-hoc support to senior audit management and cross-department initiatives

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Our ideal candidate is dedicated, and approaches work with a positive attitude. You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and excel at attention to detail, data analysis, presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication. You demonstrate strong proactive problem analysis skills and the ability to identify and implement effective solutions. You understand risks, controls, audit practices, tools, and techniques well and bring 2+ years of audit or related experience, preferably in financial services, and a BA/BS or equivalent experience in a related field.

The Team

The Audit Professional Practices Group (PPG) is dedicated to maintaining Fidelity’s audit methodology in accordance with IIA standards and industry-leading approaches. We are committed to delivering high-quality assistance and supporting our auditors with the best tools and resources available. The PPG coordinates the annual risk assessment, executive and committee reporting, business intelligence and audit insights, workforce management reporting, audit training and development programs, records retention compliance, and systems access. We strive to ensure that our practices not only meet but exceed required standards, contributing to Fidelity’s reputation for excellence.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
