Workplace Investing Relationship Management, Solutions Office
Systems Analyst
The Role
Are you passionate about using technology to solve problems, create scale and drive business forward? The Solutions Office is the place for you. Executing in a rapidly evolving, value‑oriented landscape, you’ll help craft and deliver technical/data solutions for our internal customers through collaboration that begins with understanding their priorities and continues through execution of the work. You will help WI client-facing associates be productive and drive better business outcomes.
The Team
The Solutions Office is a distributed team with end-to-end solution and execution capabilities. It helps identify and execute activities/capabilities that can be transitioned into our team which allows our customers to be more passionate about delivering results to our clients, prospects, and advisor community. Using technology best practices, a “Good/Better/Best” approach, and domain expertise to rapidly re-engineer and automate front-end processes, we deliver outstanding outcomes across a broad range of partners, services and products across Workplace Investing, including Stock Plan Services!
The Expertise You Have

You can run effective requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders, using a variety of methods to elicit and understand needs e.g. process flows, user journey mapping

You can conceptualize and capture a problem or feature need and leverage different methods to convey the requirement to engineers and business partners e.g. process models, data models

You have a strong understanding of principles of good software design and can work with engineers and architects to craft an optimal solution approach

You can summarize scope and status to business partners & senior leaders

You have strong attention-to-detail and work effectively with developers, business analysts, and system administrators as part of a team

You have excellent collaboration skills and can work with other analysts in multiple locations.

You are comfortable with having trade off conversations with business partners.

You are experienced in coordinating and running User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, along with developing and managing content to support end-user training.

You are experienced in data analysis using SQL. If you can read and interpret data models that would be great!
The Value You Deliver

Conducts business analyses to formulate and make recommendations within the scope of the Product

Communicates with external partners to ensure teams are building the proper solutions to meet customer needs.

Translates complex customer needs into User Stories with measurable acceptance criteria.

Writes drafts of epics and stories to seed the backlog to begin the refinement process.

Participates in all project ceremonies - daily check-ins, planning meetings, demos, and retrospectives.

Inspects the progress at the end of sprints with the authority to accept or reject work performed.

Mitigates impediments that may impact successful team completion of release and sprint goals.

Develops, documents, and revises system design, test procedures, and quality standards.

Consults with management to ensure agreement on system principles.

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having most of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
