Service Now Technical Architect

Location: Katowice / Wrocław - 2 days office/3 days remote

The opportunity

We are looking for a Service Now Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex Service Now solutions for global enterprise clients. In this role, you will own solution architecture, guide technical teams, and ensure alignment between business requirements and scalable platform design. As a Global Elite Partner, EY gives you exposure to multi‑module, high‑complexity implementations and advanced custom solutions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define and oversee the technical architecture of Service Now solutions (with strong focus on IRM/GRC).

  • Lead requirement analysis and translate business needs into robust, scalable designs.

  • Guide development teams, ensuring quality, best practices, and adherence to architectural standards.

  • Oversee configuration, customization, integrations, and cross‑module alignment.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and provide expert technical guidance.

  • Ensure high-quality delivery through testing standards, performance monitoring, and continuous optimization.

  • Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer across teams.

  • Service Now Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.

  • Cooperating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new Service Nowtechnologies/solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.

  • Reporting the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review

  • Designing, testing, and implementing new Service Now solutions– conducting workshops, pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, and deploying new or improved system features.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Deep understanding of Now Platform architecture; 5+ years hands‑on experience.

  • Strong experience in implementations, integrations, and custom development.

  • Experience as a Technical Lead, ideally in IRM/GRC.

  • Confidence working across the entire SDLC and advising stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 5+ years of Service Now implementation experience.

  • Advanced certifications (CAD, CIS – IRM or similar).

  • Experience with JavaScript plus at least one additional language (C#, Java, etc.).

  • Strong competence in ITSM, GRC, and enterprise architecture principles.

  • Proven ability to lead technical design, integrations, and team delivery.

  • Fluency in English

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • German or other European languages are an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or economic fields.
