Senior Manager – SAP Testing (Automation & AI Enablement)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Manager – SAP Testing to lead and shape the future of SAP Testing at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP testing processes, coupled with a forward-looking vision for automation, AI-driven testing, and intelligent quality assurance. This role demands a strategic thinker who can lead large-scale testing transformations, champion continuous test automation, and drive DevOps and CI/CD enablement in complex SAP S/4HANA and cloud environments.

The Senior Manager will be accountable for defining strategy, building capability, and ensuring delivery excellence across multiple SAP engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the strategic vision for next-generation SAP Testing using automation, AI, and analytics.

  • Lead the transformation of SAP quality assurance practices by embedding continuous testing within DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (SAP functional, Basis, Integration, and DevOps) to ensure end-to-end test optimization.

  • Drive test strategy design, governance frameworks, and delivery excellence across SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, Cloud).

  • Build and lead high-performing testing and automation teams, fostering innovation and accountability.

  • Champion the adoption of AI-based testing accelerators, impact analysis tools, and intelligent defect prediction models.

  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Panaya, Worksoft, Selenium, etc.).

  • Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and automation ROI to measure effectiveness and identify improvement areas.

  • Collaborate with global EY leadership and clients to articulate transformation roadmaps and ensure alignment with business outcomes.

  • Mentor teams to develop future-ready SAP testing talent within EY GDS.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 12–14 years of experience in SAP testing and quality engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-country programs.

  • Deep understanding of SAP landscapes, testing processes, and release management in S/4HANA and SAP Cloud ecosystems.

  • Strong expertise in test automation tools (preferably Tricentis Tosca, Panaya, Worksoft, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience implementing DevOps, CI/CD, and continuous testing pipelines in SAP environments.

  • Exposure to AI/ML-based testing platforms or intelligent test automation strategies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills – able to influence senior leadership and drive decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to own and deliver outcomes with full accountability, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
