The opportunity

We are looking for a top-notch technology savvy specialists willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. You will be part of our global team and you will participate in international projects.

Your key responsibilities

• Implement integrated solutions for global insurance and reinsurance clients.

• Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and development partners to design and deploy a new risk management platform.

• Create custom applications to address unique client business challenges.

• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of reusable solution artifacts and design patterns.

• Ensure timely delivery of solutions to development partner clients and internal development teams.

• Python / Java Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.

• Cooperating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new Python / Java technologies/solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.

• Reporting the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review

• Designing, testing, and implementing new Python / Java solutions/modules – conducting workshops, pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives, and deploying new or improved system features.

Skills and attributes for success

• Full stack application development experience

• Proficiency in Python

• Proficiency in Java

• AI experience

• Understanding of test-driven development and testing processes

• Knowledge of microservices and REST APIs

• UI development experience with React and Typescript/JavaScript

• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience in developing applications to support Underwriting & or Cat Modelling workflow for large insurance or reinsurance entities.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience with deploying applications using cloud components in AWS

• Experience with SQL Server; NoSQL or cloud database experience is a plus

• Previous client-facing and professional services experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Business process and workflow design/re-engineering

• Good presentation skills

• The role may occasionally require some travel
