nd Business Consulting – Axiom Developer

Position: Senior

Responsibilities:

  • Work as Senior on multiple clients as a part of regulatory reporting implementation team.

  • Work on the technical aspect of the project, perform coding, Unit Testing, SIT, UAT Etc.

  • Working with Business and Technology stakeholders, supporting Production implementation.

  • Support the production rollout and help support team.

  • Develop reports based on specifications.

  • Debug/modify the source code based on specifications.

  • Provide support in production issues.

  • Ensure SDLC process compliance.

  • Should be able to Lead the team and guide other team members.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 7 years of overall experience in Finance industry with minimum 3 years of Development experience in Axiom Controller View.

  • Good understanding of Axiom objects / functionalities

  • Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand's, Portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform or Taxonomy, Tabular Report, Workflow, ASL, UDF, Sign-off, Freezing etc.

  • Proficiency in performance tuning of SQL queries.

  • Should have exposure to US or Australia regulations/regulatory reports.

  • Should have good functional understanding of Regulatory Reports namely: FRY 9C, FRY 14Q, FFIEC reports, 2052a reports and/or APRA regulatory reports.

  • Proficiency in development of Freeform or Taxonomy regulatory reports using Axiom Controller View.

  • Strong SQL, Advanced excel and analytical skills.

  • Good understanding of Regulatory Reporting financial products.

  • Experience with any major relational database (Oracle, MySQL, SYBASE).

  • Familiar with Axiom v10 architecture.

  • Familiarity with Unix, shell scripting.

  • Familiarity with Agile process.

  • Proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Experience with ETL tools, BI tools, JIRA, Confluence is a plus.

  • Understanding BRD would be an added advantage.

  • Should pay attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and must display effective interaction capabilities with various stakeholders.

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in building Taxonomy Reports using Axiom from scratch.

  • Experience in migration from V9 to V10 Axiom.
