Junior Service Now Developer/ Consultant

The opportunity

Service Now is a global tool used widely to manage business processes of Enterprise clients and our Service Now team is part of the global structure of EY as a Global Elite partner of Service Now. Involving different roles and stakeholders we provide our customers with the best consultancy and solutions.

As a member of our team, based in the EY GDS Spain office in Málaga, you would be a part of project teams involved in implementation, configuration and maintenance of Now Platform allowing you to develop your technical and business skills in global environment. As Global Elite Service Now partner EY works with all types of modules of the platform, heavily using their features and developing custom solutions not yet built by others.

Your key responsibilities

As a Junior Service Now Developer, you will be tasked with developing and implementing intricate business processes. This also involves the analysis of business requirements at all stages of development and close cooperation with the other team members.

Skills and attributes for success

To excel in this role, you must possess understanding of the platform and exhibit confidence when working through implementation, customization or maintenance projects. This may be demonstrated through:

• Knowledge of Now Platform architecture with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

• Experience in product customizations, integrations, implementation or maintenance

• Experience in project activities as a Developer

To qualify for the role, you must have

• At least 1 year of Service Now implementation experience

• Demonstrated experience with at least two programming languages (JavaScript, C#, Java or others)

• Proven experience and advanced understanding of ITSM (any additional module will be a plus)

• Showcased knowledge of Best Practices in Software Development

• Thorough understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies

• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 – C1)

Ideally, you’ll also have

Spanish, German, French or other European languages would be an advantage but not mandatory
