The Opportunity

EY-Parthenon is looking for a Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our diversely talented and highly experienced team, working at the forefront of high-profile transactions. Our strategic advisors deliver high-quality advice to clients, helping them navigate complex financial and operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in evaluating capital options, capturing greater transaction value, and achieving strategic objectives—whether they are buying or selling distressed assets, restructuring businesses, or improving cash management.

• Support the preparation of comprehensive financial reviews of client operations, attend legal proceedings, engage in judicial management, and advise clients on corporate risk management issues.

• Collaborate with project teams comprising colleagues from various strategy and transactions sub-service lines.

• Contribute to practice development initiatives, supporting our team and firm as a great place to work.

• Build strong working relationships with clients, influencing and advising key decision-makers.

Skills and Attributes

• A strong business and commercial drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive value for our clients.

• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, with the ability to synthesize findings and link them to client issues.

• Strong numerical skills, including advanced financial modeling and detailed financial analysis.

Qualification & Experience

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5+ years of relevant work experience in corporate restructuring.

• Have strong finance and accounting capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.

• Have excellent command of spoken and written English.

• Flexibility to travel in the region (approximately 25 to 50% of the time).

Ideally, you’ll also:

• Have knowledge of Islamic finance.

• Have excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

• Have auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services or consulting background.

• Have full fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
