Finance Transformation Manager – Katowice

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

  • As part of our EY GDS Poland
  • Finance Consulting Practice, you will have an exciting opportunity to support our clients in transforming their finance processes. This includes working on client projects within O2C (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure to Pay) processes, leveraging GBS/SSC (Global Business Services/Shared Service Center) methodology. You will provide industry best practices and thought leadership, ensuring the successful implementation of transformation initiatives. Furthermore, you will support us in proposals for clients, enhancing our service offers.

Your key responsibilities

  • Finance Process Transformation: Lead and support clients in transforming their O2C and/or P2P processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

  • GBS/SSC Methodology: Utilize GBS/SSC methodology to optimize finance processes and drive efficient transformation and transition.

  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and industry insights to clients, helping them navigate complex finance transformation projects.

  • Client Proposals: Support go-to-market efforts and development of client proposals and RFP responses, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.

  • Communication and Presentation: Deliver clear and compelling presentations to clients, articulating the benefits and outcomes of finance transformation initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Core Consulting Skills: Strong data analytics and interpretation, structured problem-solving skills, project management skills, and market insights.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent articulation and presentation skills.

  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English; German language skills would be a plus.

  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization and influence others towards a common vision or goal.

  • SAP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP systems is highly desirable.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Finance Process Expertise: Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C and/or P2P processes.

  • GBS/SSC Experience: Experience in GBS transformation and implementing GBS/SSC methodology.

  • Industry Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices in finance transformation.

  • Client Engagement: Ability to engage with clients and provide strategic advice on finance transformation.

  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German or French.

  • SAP Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP systems is a plus.

  • Additional Tools: Familiarity with other finance transformation tools and methodologies.
