Join our **Assurance team -**be an innovator and a problem solver, helping a complex world to work better by maintaining the confidence and trust that capital markets need. You will interact with multiple organizations across different industries and countries to gain unique insights into how businesses operate.

The opportunity

As a Junior Auditor, you will assist in various audit engagements in different industry sectors. As you build your finance & audit knowledge and experience, you will become a credible auditor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. Apply if you are a last year student and do not have lectures, a graduate or already have work experience.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the audit client’s business.

  • Interact with the clients to collect all the necessary data and information, set-up and maintain audit files, etc.

  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements.

  • Clearly and accurately document the execution of audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, and planned audit approach.

  • Data and information analysis while working on various audit projects.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Drive to gain deep understanding of finance & accounting, business management (some previous experience would be an advantage), motivation and willingness to grow as an expert in audit field.

  • Proper mix of strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong academic record including a university degree or being last year student in economics / finance / accounting or any other related area.

  • Excellent spoken and written Latvian and English.

  • Ability to work full time.
