As a Tax Senior within our International Tax and Transaction Services(ITTS) team, you will make a technical contribution to tax engagements and internal projects with** focus on Indirect Tax, primarily VAT.** You will actively establish internal and external relationships.

We are currently seeking for a VAT Senior (m/f) to support our constantly growing tax team and help our clients in tax projects at different industry sectors. Your key responsibilities

• Delivering clients with quality, timely and responsive advisory services in the area of VAT and other indirect taxes

• Supervise the work and development of junior tax professionals

• Demonstrate an understanding of complex indirect tax concepts and discuss complex indirect tax issues with the engagement team and client

• Be informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situation

• Thoroughly and accurately analyse information and prepare practical and effective approaches to the client's tax situation

• Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong technical skills in indirect tax (VAT primarily) and keen to develop further

• Building effective long-term relationships with our clients and understanding their unique needs to provide tailored service

• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards

• Client-focused and commercially aware

• Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically

• Ability to coach and develop more junior tax members of the team

What we look for

• University degree (Accounting, Auditing or Law is considered an advantage)

• Minimum of 3 years of related tax experience - working experience in one of Big4 companies or tax administration is an advantage

• Experience with VAT is an advantage

• Fluency in English language

• Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
