Job Description

Designer – Financial Services

  • Staff
  • Senior Level

Role Overview

The Designer will be part of the Financial Services (FS) practice and will support sectors including WAM, INS and BCM.

This role focuses on creating high quality visual communication material for leadership, client proposals, sector initiatives, thought leadership, events, and internal communications. The designer will work closely with the FS Business Manager, sector leaders, and account teams to deliver visually compelling and brand aligned design output.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

  • Develop visually engaging presentations, reports, proposals, brochures, banners, infographics, capability decks, and sector collateral.

  • Translate complex FS content into clear, structured, and visually appealing formats.

  • Ensure all design output meets firm branding, style guidelines, and visual identity standards.

Support FS Business Manager & Sector Leaders

  • Work closely with the FS Business Manager to support sector-wide design needs.

  • Assist with leadership presentations, sector reviews, event materials, and communication decks.

  • Provide design inputs for sector-level strategy sessions, governance forums, and leadership visits.

Proposal & RFI Design Support

  • Format and design RFI/RFP responses, pitch decks, proposal templates, and supporting materials.

Event & Engagement Creative

  • Create visual assets for townhalls, client events, offsites, CSR initiatives, team-building programs, and internal campaigns.

  • Design branding elements such as standees, digital signages, event backdrops, and thematic visuals.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop), and optional tools like Figma or Canva.

  • Ability to convert raw content into structured, visually powerful design deliverables.

  • Experience designing for consulting, financial services, or professional services preferred.

  • Strong sense of layout, colour, typography, and design hierarchy.

Behavioral Skills

  • Humble, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and take ownership of tasks end-to-end.

  • A team player who works well with FS leaders, business managers, and support teams.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in design roles (corporate, consulting, or agency environments).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Portfolio showcasing strong design and storytelling capabilities.
