The opportunity

When you join IT professionals of EY Tax team as Technical Analyst, you’ll provide to local and global clients assistance with the complex IT issues related to implementation of R&D projects in different EU countries. .

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in the meetings with clients’ senior IT, technical, scientific and engineering staff to develop an understanding of the innovative IT R&D projects implemented by them.

• Based on the received information provide assistance to EY Team describing IT related R&D projects implemented by the Clients in professional language and terminology.

• Delivery of high-quality advice and solutions to all types of clients by cooperating with EY Teams from different EU countries.

• Assisting with advice and automation of tax/accounting processes using various programming languages and tools.

Skills and attributes to thrive in the role

• A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 1 – 4 years of experience in the IT industry, academia, or a research organization.

• Knowledge one of any programming languages and hands-on experience.

• Strong written, spoken, and conversational English as we work with international clients.

• Permission to work in Latvia and ability to travel to other EU countries.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse team members across different countries.

• Ability to adapt quickly and learn about varying technologies and industry sectors, accompanied by strong writing proficiency, attention to detail, first-time accuracy, and robust analytical skills.

• Ideally, experienced in handling industry challenges like software development life cycle (Agile and Scrum), code reviews, testing, and operations, past work as a back-end or full-stack developer for a better understanding of our clients’ operations.

Salary: EUR 1690 - 2700 EUR gross (depending from the experience)
