The opportunity

At EY, we support clients through major transformations, using technology-enabled programs and a holistic approach that integrates systems, technology, people, and change management. As Director, you’ll bridge operations and IT, inspiring clients to leverage technology for better outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA ERP solution development and implementation, managing all project phases and ensuring quality and timelines.

• Proactively manage client challenges to maintain high satisfaction.

• Strengthen the Enterprise Platforms Practice through proposals, internal initiatives, and recruitment.

• Drive collaboration across EY service lines to enhance delivery and innovation.

What we look for

SAP Knowledge

• SAP S/4HANA: 12+ years’ experience in architecture and implementation, including migrations, hybrid cloud, and post-go-live support. Expertise in business process reengineering, embedded analytics, and real-time data flows.

• Functional/Technical Mastery: Ability to map complex business processes (Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing) to S/4HANA modules and translate requirements into robust IT designs.

• SAP Fiori: Lead design and deployment of role-based Fiori applications, with deep understanding of architecture, customization, and optimization.

• Cloud & Integration: Architect SAP solutions in cloud/hybrid environments, manage API-based integration, security, and compliance.

• Data Management: Experience with SAP HANA, data modelling, and embedded analytics for business insights.

• Automation & AI: Implement SAP AI Business Services, RPA, and machine learning for process optimization.

• Licensing & Governance: Manage SAP SAM, contract analysis, negotiation, and support for RISE & S/4HANA contracts.

• Support implementation audits and ensure cost-effective, future-proof setups.

Certifications & Learning

• Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Business.

• Preferred SAP certifications: Technology Professional, Application Associate (S/4HANA, Fiori, HANA), Activate Project Manager, and relevant module certifications.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development through SAP Learning Hub and community participation.

Leadership & Change Management

• Lead multidisciplinary teams, drive collaboration, and deliver innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals.

• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and stakeholder engagement for managing transformation initiatives.

Additional Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in English; German/French is a plus.

• Strategic leadership in SAP projects: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, drive collaboration across service lines, and deliver innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals.

• Change management and stakeholder engagement: Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage transformation initiatives and client expectations.

• Industry Experience in Pharma, Consumer, Chemical or Manufacturing industries is a strong advantage

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; a robust work ethic, business acumen, and the ability to drive business KPIs effectively.
