As a Supervising Associate in R&DA, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business and finance leaders, delivering high-quality financial reporting analysis, management reporting, and actionable insights. You will leverage advanced analytics and technology to transform complex data into clear, strategic recommendations, supporting decision-making at the highest levels. This role requires technical proficiency, stakeholder management, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive markets, finance and management reports, including monthly performance packages with analysis, commentary, and business insights.

  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actuals and forecasts and perform competitor benchmarking to inform strategic decisions.

  • Model projections, analyse forward-looking indicators, and conduct scenario modelling to support business planning and ad hoc analyses.

Data Transformation & Technology Enablement

  • Manage large, complex financial data sets, transforming unstructured data into actionable insights.

  • Design, develop, and manage dynamic, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring robust and efficient backend ETL processes.

  • Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data, maintaining data integrity and reliability across reporting databases.

  • Automate reporting processes and pilot improvements by incorporating AI, advanced analytics, and data management technologies.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communications and effective addressing of reporting needs.

  • Collaborate across functions and geographies, synthesizing business insights and driving a consistent approach to analytics and executive presentations.

  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations, distilling complex financial data for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Process Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish clear timelines and workflows for report delivery, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

  • Demonstrate agility in problem-solving, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and delivering accurate results under pressure.

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of reporting.

Skills & Attributes for Success

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Power Pivot, Lookups, filters), Power BI, and SQL (SSMS).

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to influence outcomes without direct authority.

  • Proactive, innovative, and committed to continuous learning and process improvement.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related fields.

  • 5–7 years of experience in financial reporting, analytics, and business analysis, including at least 2 years as a Power BI developer.

  • Power BI certifications are a plus.

  • Strong spoken and written English.

  • Experience working in a global or matrixed environment is preferred.

What We Offer

  • A dynamic, supportive, and inclusive work environment that fosters development and growth.

  • Opportunities to work on challenging projects and make a significant impact on the business.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.

  • A culture that values diversity, teamwork, and continuous learning.
