Data Governance

  • Informatica EDC and AXON - Staff

Job Description:

EY is seeking a highly skilled Staff to join our team, specializing in the end-to-end implementation of Data Governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra or Informatica Data Governance tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical aspects of implementing and managing the solutions to support data governance and data management initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of data catalog, metadata, data lineage, and data governance processes, as well as hands-on experience with a data governance tool and good understanding of available suite of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of data governance tools, such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, and other relevant technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

  • Collaborate with data governance teams and IT to integrate data governance tools with existing data management systems and processes.

  • Conduct metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data cataloging activities to enhance data visibility and governance.

  • Support the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides for implemented tools.

  • Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on the effective use of data governance tools.

  • Engage in current state assessments to evaluate data quality, data management practices, and governance principles within client environments.

  • Assist in business development efforts, including proposal support and client presentations.

Must have skills:

  • Proven experience with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or similar technologies.

  • Strong understanding of data management and governance principles, including metadata management and data lineage.

  • Ability to articulate technical solutions to meet complex business requirements effectively.

  • Experience in preparing training materials and conducting user education sessions.

  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA, CMMI, or NDMO.

Good To have:

  • Experience with data quality tools, including the data profiling, implementation of data quality rules and activating data quality tools.

  • Experience in publishing and visualize data governance and data quality results in various Data Visualization and BI tools.
