Join our Digital Finance & Transformation Team within EY Technology Consulting Belgium and work with international corporate clients on transforming their CFO (Finance & ESG) and Tax functions. We help organizations and their leaders streamline operations, align Finance and Tax with strategy, and embed a performance-driven culture.

As a Digital Finance & Transformation Professional, you'll contribute to projects in:

• Finance Transformation Strategy & Roadmap

• Finance Operating Model Design

• Finance Statement Close processes optimization

• FP&A, Controlling Excellence & Management Reporting optimization

• Tax & ESG reporting solutions set up

• Workforce Planning and Management automation process review and solution set up

• CPM/EPM Implementations, enabled by market leading and AI Agentic enabled solutions

The Role:

As a Manager, you will play a key leadership role in both client delivery and business development.

You will guide projects from start to finish, ensuring a high standard of quality and operational efficiency throughout.

You are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, while also identifying new business opportunities in collaboration with EY Partners.

Collaboration is central to the role — you’ll work closely with colleagues across various EY teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions. Your expertise and strategic perspective will contribute to thought leadership within the team and in the broader market.

In your role, you will manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

At EY we apply hybrid work mode (EY office/client premises/remote) and as many of our clients are global institutions, projects might require business travels (up to around 50% of the time)

Key Responsibilities:

Client/Project Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise CCH Tagetik/Board International/Other market leading platforms implementationprojects, examining clients’ internal finance and accounting processes and advising on solutions around creating efficient processes or improving existing processes

• Champion CCHTagetik/Board International/Other market leading platforms through full project cycle – requirements and design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support

• Support pre-sales cycle work – client introduction, scoping, drafting estimate and proposal, creating statement of work contract

• System migration support to transition from on-premises consolidation systems like SAP BPC/BFC/HFM/IBM Cognos to cloud-based systems (i.e., CCH Tagetik/Board International/Other market leading platforms)

• Deploy the solution to end-users and provide overall support and training – including data validation activities

• Work with leadership to develop and grow the practice further including revenue attainment, sales and marketing assets, partnership with CCH Tagetik/Board International, internal COE and helpdesk, training, recruiting, onboarding, and staffing

People Management

• Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff

• Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training Finance & Performance Management professionals

• Assist with technical guidance to other developers, incl. training of EY and client staff

• Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Master’s in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or similar

• At least 5–6 years’ experience in consulting or industry

• Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik/Board International/Other market leading platforms implementations

• Solid understanding of financial processes (Finance Close, FP&A, EPM/CPM – ESG and tax reporting is a plus)

• Experience with end-to-end implementations and data integration (Knowledge of SQL is a plus)

• Experience with data integration between different systems/sources

• Subject matter expertise in Financial Close and Consolidation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Enterprise Performance Management**(EPM)** implementation

• Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a strong plus
