Senior Support Consultant – Technology Consulting (Microsoft Finance)

Your key responsibilities

  • As an application support consultant, you will need previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and associated cloud services such as Azure, Power Apps, Logic Apps.

  • We encourage you to have broad product exposure, but our expectation is that your focus will be financial ledgers, finance modules and related business processes. HR module is desirable.

  • Provide proactive and reactive ongoing support and consultancy services to our clients based around the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

  • Take ownership of tickets assigned to you to deliver best practice solutions within the client’s contractual SLAs.

  • Manage and run service review calls with your assigned clients, providing them with insights into their system and assist them in achieving their vision for their system.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve incidents for those areas which impact finance directly, but that also have operational impact. These might include product costing, inventory management, manufacturing costing sheets, project costing, WIP management, revenue recognition, asset lifecycle management.

  • As part of the Application managed services team, liaise with and collaborate with your colleagues to follow the defined application support processes.

  • As a member of a small team, you may reasonably be expected to carry out other related duties from time to time as required.

  • Be an ambassador for the company in relation to matters in and around your subject matter expertise.

  • Contribute to company news, team events and blogs as appropriate.

What you’ll bring:

  • Working towards or holding Microsoft MB-310 certification.

  • Ideally, finance certification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA), ITIL 4 Foundation, and hands-on finance experience.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a positive, professional attitude.
