The opportunity
As a Manager inEY’s Risk Consulting practice, you will work with a variety of public and private sector clients, supporting them in the evaluation and improvement of their key strategic, operational, compliance and financial related risks and controls.
This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
Support the delivery of internal audit engagements by performing process walkthroughs, controls testing, data analytics and contributing to report development.
Assess client processes and controls to identify risk mitigation opportunities and improvements to efficiency, effectiveness and business performance.
Work across multiple client accounts as part of high‑performing engagement teams with diverse skills and expertise.
Develop skills and experience in the professional practice of internal audit and broader risk consulting through ongoing support and learning opportunities.
Skills and attributes for success
Proven ability to lead teams, develop junior talent, and foster a collaborative culture.
Skilled in building strong working relationships with colleagues and trusted partnerships with client stakeholders.
Experienced in managing engagements end‑to‑end — from scoping and stakeholder expectations to reporting, timelines, and economics.
Applies structured, risk‑based project and audit methodologies, with a strong interest in advancing Internal Audit through AI and emerging technologies.
