Commercial Controller – Manager | EY Managed Services

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Controller – Manager to join our Global Managed Services (GMx) team and support some of EY’s most high‑profile global engagements. This is a strategic role where you will combine financial expertise, commercial thinking, and strong stakeholder leadership to drive the financial success of complex, multi‑country projects.

What You Will Do

• Lead commercial and financial strategy for a large global engagement, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial matters.

• Provide insight‑driven financial reporting and ensure alignment with the engagement’s pricing model, business case, and contractual terms.

• Identify financial risks and opportunities, such as margin leakage, underpricing, or scope drift, and recommend actions to enhance profitability.

• Model pricing and financial scenarios to support executive decision-making and prepare internal fee discussions.

• Strengthen commercial controls by ensuring compliance with EY policies and maintaining visibility of global financial performance.

• Influence senior stakeholders through clear commercial guidance and represent the commercial perspective in strategic discussions.

• Coach and mentor junior team members, helping build capability across the commercial management function.

Must‑have experience & skills

• Strong ability to influence and build relationships with senior leadership.

• Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end reporting.

• Hands‑on experience creating and managing financial or operational models.

• Understanding of P&L concepts and commercial drivers.

• Experience handling complex billing structures and cashflow management.

• A proactive mindset, with the ability to prioritize business challenges and bring fresh insights.

• Flexibility and interest in developing junior team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Tax; MBA preferred.

• 10 years of relevant experience.

• Team leadership experience

• Strong project management and executive‑level communication skills.
