The opportunity
As the Private Client Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering practical solutions that assist our clients in navigating complex tax issues and managing their tax obligations efficiently.
You will have the chance to collaborate with our talented professionals across Australia, working together to provide innovative solutions that enable our clients to fulfill their tax responsibilities while optimizing their business outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

Work closely with the leadership team to coordinate and manage taxation services for a designated portfolio of private clients, overseeing daily operations, providing advice on Australian tax laws, and preparing and reviewing income tax returns and accounting calculations.

Deliver a comprehensive range of taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling applications, backed by Australia’s leading tax experts.

Lead and mentor the team, including managers, senior consultants, consultants, and graduates, acting as a 'Counsellor' for junior members, fostering their professional development, and contributing to a positive team culture that encourages high performance, collaboration, and celebrates achievements.
Skills and attributes for success

Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, gained through work in a professional services firm or a similar industry role, along with expertise in private client tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement requirements.

Exhibit strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on significant tax matters, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.

Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters).
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
