We work with every part of The Walt Disney Company’s media portfolio to advance the technological foundation and consumer media touch points serving millions of people around the world. **How will you contribute to our magical experience?:** The Software Engineer will join Disney’s Media Engineering organization, contributing to the development of platforms that improve integration quality and testing workflows across multiple teams. The Software Engineer will contribute to the design and development of scalable software solutions that support business and engineering needs across the organization. This role involves working across the full stack—building backend services and user-facing components—while leveraging modern cloud technologies to deliver reliable, high-performing applications. The engineer will help improve system quality, automation, and overall platform efficiency. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, the Software Engineer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and iteration. This position is ideal for adaptable engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, taking ownership, and continuously developing their skills. What we need from you to be part of this story: - **BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).** - 2+ years of professional software development experience. - Strong proficiency in **Java** and **Python**, with exposure to **JavaScript and TypeScript**. - Experience building **cloud-based applications**, preferably using **AWS**. - Advanced level of **English**, both written and spoken. - Familiarity with tools and technologies such as **Temporal, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Datadog**. - Ability to thrive in a **fast-paced, collaborative environment**. - Strong **problem-solving skills** and eagerness to take on new challenges. **Additional Information** At Disney, we believe it takes great people to create the memorable experiences, products and services our consumers know and love.
