How will you contribute to our magical experience? ** The Sr. Editor, Web is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily content production of the editorial team, ensuring high-quality, performance-driven publishing aligned with business objectives such as audience growth, revenue, and user experience. The role works closely with supervisors to prioritize workflows, analyze performance insights, and continuously optimize content strategies across web and social platforms, while fostering team development and maintaining compliance with editorial standards and company policies. **The Sr. Editor, Web will be responsible for:** - Organize the Team priorities and daily routine. - Responsible for ensuring the quality of content posted daily. - Monitoring results and insights, and developing ideas and changes to improve performance constantly. - Responsible for providing performance insights and suggestions for improvements to ESPN’s Social Media channels. - Ensure the Team receives necessary feedback to improve content quality and performance. - People Management. - Ensure compliance with the department’s and company’s quality standards, processes, routines, and policies. - **What we need from you to be part of this story:** - +4 years of experience in similar editorial roles, preferably within digital media and sports-focused environments. - At least 1–2 years of people management experience, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide, develop, and provide feedback to team members. - Active and up-to-date professional journalism registration, MTB (Mandatory). - Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Social Communication, or related fields. - Experience managing and optimizing sports content for social media platforms, with a strong performance-driven mindset. - Advanced level of English. - Intermediate level of Spanish (plus). - Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage priorities effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, social media, and business teams. - High attention to content quality, editorial standards, and compliance with company policies and processes. **Additional Information:** At Disney, we believe it takes great people to create the memorable experiences, products and services our consumers know and love.
