We are looking for a Sales Director with experience selling IT services to the Banking and Financial Services sector.

You will have a proven track record of sourcing and closing IT services engagements, with a strong understanding of how to position AI, Agile and Digital Services within the Financial Services industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape and execute our business development strategy in order to meet or exceed revenue targets, with a focus on large-scale IT services deals within the Banking and Financial Services sector.

  • Build a strong pipeline of prospects by identifying potential clients, understanding their needs and positioning our services to meet those needs.

  • Own the sales process end-to-end from prospecting to closing, leveraging our existing customer stories with established enterprise logos within Banking and Financial Services.

  • Apply your deep knowledge of the industry, its technological landscape and the complex challenges it faces to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within Banking and Financial Services.

  • Leverage our partner ecosystem including OpenAI, Databricks and Hyperscalers to open opportunities within target clients.

  • Utilise our roster of technical SMEs with deep Banking and Financial Services domain experience to enhance our bid process.

  • Use our AI-native delivery model Dava.

  • Flow to address clients needs

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in target accounts.

  • Lead negotiations of complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and long-term success for both the company and clients.

  • Provide regular updates on business development activities, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including international colleagues, to ensure comprehensive support for clients our growth in region

  • Represent Endava at industry events, acting as both a participant and moderator.

  • Demonstrable business development experience focused on selling strategic enterprise technology services.

  • Experienced selling to Banking and Financial Services clients with a strong understanding of the technological trends and challenges within the industry.

  • A warm network of contacts and/or previous customers within Banking and Financial Services.

  • Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives to drive sales opportunities for large enterprise clients.

  • Sales-driven professional with hunter-centric net new logo sales experience including prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating, closing contracts, and building relationships.

  • Strong ability to identify industry pain points to engage with and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers.

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
