Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer at Endava youwill be responsible for developing and running a wide variety of consumable services on AWS that are highly automated, secure and compliant by design.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve and create CI/CD processes.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based environments in AWS.
  • Utilize IaC to automate deployments (ex: AWS CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Administer and maintain any repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
  • Apply good communication skills with team and client interaction.

+5 Years of experience

  • Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Jenkis, or any CI/CD tool.
  • Excellent scripting skills (e.g. Python, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience participating in "project discovery sessions with Stakeholders.”
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Certifications in AWS.
