Applications Management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. You will be part of one of our teams offering support for one of our various clients. This includes performing incident management activities, change management activities, continuous improvement activities, while also being open to do standby/on-call activities during weekends/public holidays. ## Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience in .NET development and support - Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), with knowledge of .NET Core and .NET 5+ frameworks - Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including jQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML5, as well as modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React - Experience with Object-Relational Mapping frameworks (e.g., NHibernate, Entity Framework) - Familiarity with logging tools (e.g., Log4net, NLOG, Elmah) and advanced debugging techniques - Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks, including NUnit and Moq - Knowledge of reporting tools, particularly SSRS, and experience with data visualisation libraries - Understanding of web services (SOAP and RESTful APIs) and microservices architecture - Strong experience with SQL Server and database management, including performance tuning and query optimisation - Proficiency in version control systems (preferably Git) and branching strategies - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps, including experience with automated testing and deployment - Experience with application monitoring, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting in production environments - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle on-call responsibilities - Experience with Agile methodologies and ITIL practices - Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience with cloud-based application support - Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest .NET technologies and best practices ## Additional Information Discover some of the global benefits that empower our people to become the best version of themselves: - Finance: Competitive salary package, share plan, company performance bonuses, value-based recognition awards, referral bonus; - Career Development: Career coaching, global career opportunities, non-linear career paths, internal development programmes for management and technical leadership; - Learning Opportunities: Complex projects, rotations, internal tech communities, training, certifications, coaching, online learning platforms subscriptions, pass-it-on sessions, workshops, conferences; - Work-Life Balance: Hybrid work and flexible working hours, employee assistance programme; - Health: Global internal wellbeing programme, access to wellbeing apps; - Community: Global internal tech communities, hobby clubs and interest groups, inclusion and diversity programmes, events and celebrations.
