Ability tquickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify gap/omissions and testing challenges/impediments
Must have 6 to 8 years of IT exposure with minimum 6+ years of software testing experience
Must have a strong QA background in manual/ functional testing.
In-depth understanding of and experience with requirement analysis
Should have experience in writing advanced SQL queries.
Good experience in Web services testing.
Sound knowledge in preparing test plan and strategy documents.
Sound knowledge in SDLC.
Demonstrate the ability to follow QA process and standards
Good experience in writing test cases and in requirement gathering.
Good experience in Functional Testing, End-to-End, Regression, and Smoke Testing tasks.
Knowledge on mobile testing would be value add
Good to have experience in Accessibility and security testing will be a value add.
Develop and maintain test cases and report test results.
Create testing defect reports and track them to resolution in defect management tool.
Understanding of formal software test design techniques
Preference for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects
Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to management
Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify gap/omissions and testing challenges/impediments
Anticipate problems or issues that may arise, forecast high risk areas in software and drive resolution
Strong sense of self-motivation, organization and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to management
