As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements to development, to implementation in production environments. This senior position is very hands-on and requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team. All team members are expected to keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks and to display industry competitive skills and techniques.
What will you do:
- Participate in the design, solution, code, troubleshoot, resolve, and test software features and components in an Agile/Scrum environment as part of a Full Stack team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
- Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.
What will you bring:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience applying strong object-oriented programming principles to design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
- 5+ years of front-end engineering experience building modern, high-quality user interfaces using JavaScript or similar programming languages, with a focus on performance, usability, and maintainability.
- 5+ years of back-end development experience designing and implementing modular, service-oriented systems using object-oriented design patterns and best practices.
- Strong experience integrating applications and services with a solid understanding of data modeling and error handling.
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a proven ability to diagnose complex issues across front-end, back-end, and integration layers and deliver effective, long-term solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver consumer-grade application experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business and user needs into reliable, well-engineered solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical design and architectural decisions.
- Understanding of Oracle, MySQL database, SQL, and Postgres SQL.
- Experiencing writing unit tests for end-to-end functional testing.
- Experience providing oversight, code-reviews, and guidance to less experienced engineers
- Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required
What will set you apart:
- Hands-on experience with Smart Comm, including document composition, template development, and integration within enterprise application ecosystems.
- Hands on experience in the financial or healthcare industry, especially around forms and documents/confirmations
- Experience with JIRA, Share Point, and Moba Xterm or similar xserver and SSH clients
- Strong communication skills to engage with the business on requirement discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
