The Workday Integration Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrations between Workday and third-party systems. The development process includes the full implementation life cycle from initial discovery and design, to development and through to production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Gather and analyze requirements and provide technical advice, hands-on development and best practices concerning Workday integration development and implementation

  • Provide solution and integration development with Workday including requirements, technical specs, design, custom development, integration testing, UAT and deployment

  • Monitor and ensure successful completion of integration runs

  • New integration implementations

  • Internal Workday Service & Support

  • Enhance existing integrations to support changes in business

  • Collaborate with Workday Community and the Area User groups to resolve issues found within Workday and to proactively remain informed about Workday enhancements

  • Keep up-to-date and provide feedback on feature designs, product roadmap and development progress of Workday HCM product areas of expertise

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources or equivalent experience.

  • 6 years of Workday Integrations including Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Studio, Orchestrateor equivalent work experience

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday business objects, Workday Business Processes, Workday Web Services, and BIRT Reporting.

  • Experienced in XML, XSLT, WWS (Workday Web Services), RAAS

  • Extensive techno/functional knowledge of 3+ modules in the Workday HCM product suite (HCM Core, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning, Reporting

  • Solid understanding of Workday security model including integration users and groups

  • Proficiency in SOAP and REST-based web services

  • Experience handling production support issues, minor and major defects/enhancements

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be able to exercise discretion and judgment with little to no supervision in carrying out daily tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.

  • Must be highly organized to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
