• Must have a strong QA background in manual/ functional testing.
• 7 to 10 years of testing experience
• 6+ years in writing and debugging automation scripts using various scripting languages including Java
• Prepare Reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts
• In-depth understanding of and experience with requirement analysis
• Proficient in using test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium Web driver and TestNG
• Experienced in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Should have experience in writing advanced SQL queries.
• Good in design and estimation techniques.
• Should have experience on CI pipeline builds, preferably using Jenkins
• Experience with testing REST and Soap-based APIs and Services
• Knowledge on mobile test automation is value add
• Extended experience in using tools such as Maven and Selenium Grid.
• Possess ability to take on leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization
• Proven ability to recommend, evaluate and institutionalize tools, frameworks and process advancements
• Excellent in preparing test plan and strategy documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sense of self-motivation, organization and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Preference for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects
• Demonstrate the ability to follow QA process and standards
• Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to management

Qualifications

• Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)
• Should have any Java/testing based certifications
