We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Supplier Performance Lead. You will provide supplier development leadership, technical expertise, and project management of performance improvement initiatives with suppliers for our European locations. Coordinate supplier improvement needs with Strategic Procurement, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Operations personnel.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead world-area supply chain performance improvements in support of business needs; areas of improvement include on-time delivery, lead-time reduction, quality, support for cost reduction initiatives
- Use appropriate tools and processes, to include, but may not be limited to the following: Lean Techniques, Six Sigma Tools
- Manage projects through completion, using Quality Assurance, Engineering and Procurement associates as needed across the business
- Track and monitor supplier performance metrics in respective world area.
- Immediate actions on problems caused by the suppliers, identification of the root causes and implementation of effective corrective actions to minimize the impact on production activities.
- Conduct project briefings to upper-level management
- Assist commodity managers in leading supplier business reviews and follow up on implementation of defined actions
- World-area responsibility for supply chain performance.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop and implement plans and solutions ensuring continuous improvement.
- Experience in supplier improvement efforts with demonstrated analytical, communication, project management and decision-making skills.
- Must possess project management and auditing skills.
- Preferred experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Able to read prints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Travel – 20% (local and European travel)
- Experience in a matrix organization is preferred.
- English language advanced proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Technical Degree preferred and expertise in machining, castings, rubber, springs, stampings, forgings are a plus.
- Operations and/or procurement experience preferred.
- Experience in a matrix organization is preferred.
- Fluent Italian will be an advantage
