- The Assistant Manager
- HR is based in Chennai. The role is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the organization. This role oversees the full recruitment lifecycle, partners closely with business leaders, enhances employer branding, and ensures a seamless candidate experience. The individual will lead recruitment initiatives and may manage a team of recruiters depending on the organizational structure.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1.
Talent Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives.

Forecast hiring needs and workforce planning in collaboration with HR and business leaders.

Analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making.

Recruitment & Selection:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior-level positions.

Source candidates through multiple channels—job portals, social media, employee referrals, campus partnerships, and networks.

Conduct initial screening, competency-based interviews, and coordinate assessment processes.

Ensure hiring processes are fair, efficient, and adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
3. Employer Branding

Strengthen the organization’s employer value proposition (EVP) and drive employer branding initiatives.

Manage online presence across career websites, job boards, and social media channels.

Organize and participate in job fairs, campus drives, and hiring events.

Candidate Experience:

Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Communicate proactively with candidates, keeping them informed at every stage.

Manage offer negotiations and onboarding coordination with HR Operations.

Stakeholder & Team Management:

Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring expectations.

Provide coaching and guidance to recruiters (if leading a team).

Basic Qualifications:
- Master degree in Human Resources,
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in recruitment; minimum 3 years in a talent acquisition leadership/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, hiring tools, and modern ATS systems.
- Experience in hiring across multiple functions; industry-specific hiring experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and recruitment best practices.
