If you are an Engineer II, Procurement professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role allows you to apply your knowledge of direct commodities such as electrical and electronic components. You will work closely with commodity management teams to support offline negotiations, pricing reviews, product notice change reviews, alternate sourcing of component parts, risk assessment of component parts, and commercial auditing of suppliers, helping ensure efficient, reliable, and cost‑effective supply.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Apply sourcing skills to source potential substitute parts to avoid supply disruption.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and source parts at best cost.

  • Ensure the accuracy of part pricing, inventory levels, BOM information, and revision number of the engineering drawings.

  • Apply analytical skills in generating reports and presentations.

  • Manage supply chain systems and databases.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

  • At least 1.5 years of relevant experience in procurement function within a manufacturing industry or a supply chain role in a shared services industry.

  • Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.

  • Knowledgeable in environmental legislations such as ROHS and REACH.

  • Basic knowledge of MRP, ERP, SRM systems and tools, and multi-level BOMs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

  • Experience using Oracle or other similar applications for data entry.
