In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will:
- Develop, maintain and optimize high quality code adhering to market best practices and standards. Write software in accordance with requirements and specifications and use best practices to build in high-quality.
- Debug and validate software issues on the latest and greatest unreleased products as well as those encountered by customers.
- Write automated unit tests and system-level tests to continue building our automation pipeline and a release-ready product.
- Help the scrum team continuously improve its environment and processes.
- Foster a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers’ design and code and participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives. Take part in Hackathons, Tech-talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded people.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 7+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 5+ years of related experience
- Knowledge and experience working in the process control industry and electronics
- Demonstrate proficiency in the development of embedded real-time firmware using C/C++
- Work collaboratively with developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners to effectively support the system level needs of the software and firmware
- Experience with commercial real-time embedded operating systems (QNX, Embedded Linux, Yocto or similar)
- Experience using object-oriented design techniques
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
- Experience in architecting and designing embedded real-time applications
- Experience with low-level microprocessor programming, including Power
PC and ARM processors:
- Experience with software testing, including test-driven development and automation
- Experience with Visual Studio, Windows System Programming, Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and GIT -based source control
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience of working on extensive industrial systems development
- Understanding of mechanical engineering and electronics
- Experience with C# (WPF, Winforms, WCF), Windows System Programming (WMI, Powershell)
