Are you ready to contribute to the planning and execution of complex pharmaceutical manufacturing operations? We are seeking a Production Planning Associate to join our Supply Chain team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the production of high-quality parenteral products that meet patient needs worldwide. Your contribution will help ensure stable planning processes, accurate material requirements, and effective coordination across the manufacturing network.
Role Objectives
-
Support the development and maintenance of the Production Plan (short, mid, and long term) to ensure appropriate stock levels across Affiliates.

Analyze demand and capacity scenarios and contribute to the definition of alternative production plans for the site.

Maintain short-term Production Plan stability to meet customer requirements and ensure a reliable MRP process.
-
Support the implementation and execution of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and MPS (Master Production Schedule) processes.
-
Adapt the Production Plan to accommodate maintenance activities and unplanned downtime without impacting supply continuity.

Contribute to strategic and business planning activities, including capacity modeling and production planning.
Main Responsibilities
-
Develop, update, and monitor the Production Plan for parenteral manufacturing operations.
-
Verify accuracy and consistency of SAP/APO/NICIM master data and transactional data used for planning and scheduling.
-
Coordinate weekly with the Shop Floor Control team to align planning assumptions and execution status.
-
Manage semifinished goods inventory, with specific attention to flavor management.
-
Support the allocation of bulk and/or semifinished goods across Affiliates in line with network manufacturing strategies.
-
Participate in New Product Team meetings, ensuring planning readiness for new introductions.
-
Maintain and improve planning tools, reports, and master data in SAP and related systems.
-
Act as Lead Investigator for changes and deviations related to planning activities, when assigned.
-
Generate data analyses, KPIs, and reports to support BSC monitoring and performance tracking.
-
Support small cross-functional improvement initiatives and planning-related projects.
-
Monitor Production Cycle Times and highlight potential planning impacts.
-
Provide temporary backup support for the MRP Buyer role, if required.
Required Qualifications
-
Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or Economics
-
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and regulated manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments, preferably in parenteral operations.
-
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain planning, and MRP logic.
-
Experience with SAP and related systems (e.g., APO, Paletti, Trackwise, Regulus).
This position requires working on-site and includes 4 days of remote work per month.
