Role Overview and Purpose
The IBU Masterbrand Lead serves as the main point of contact for IBU affiliates, facilitating the localization and adoption of the Lilly Masterbrand in alignment with global strategy and brand office guidelines. This role acts as liaison between the affiliates, Global Masterbrand Team, Lilly Brand Office (LBO), and other key interested parties. The Masterbrand Lead also stewards the IBU Masterbrand Ambassadors Community, leads governance efforts, and oversees campaign and branding requests, ensuring consistent brand elevation and coordinated interested party engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaison Duties: Serve as the single point of contact for OUS IBU affiliates, coordinating with the Global Masterbrand Team, Lilly Brand Office (LBO), Global Media Team, Global Communications Team, domain experts, and creative agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign execution.
- Campaign Localization: Support affiliates in localizing and adapting Masterbrand campaigns and assets, maintaining alignment with global strategy and brand office guidelines. Oversee delivery of strategic messages and relevant topics for affiliates, supplying to Lilly’s global patient reach goals.
- Ambassador Community Stewardship: Lead and champion the IBU Masterbrand Ambassadors Community, organizing and facilitating monthly meetings to develop knowledge sharing, standard methodology exchange, and affiliate engagement.
- Governance Oversight: Lead governance needs related to Masterbrand activities, including compliance with brand standards, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborator Coordination: Field campaign and branding requests from affiliates, triage with global stakeholders—including the Global Masterbrand Team, LBO, Global Media Team, and Global Communications Team—and ensure open communication and coordinated efforts across teams, especially during major partnerships and events.
- Asset Delivery: Oversee the delivery and implementation of localized Masterbrand assets to affiliates, including but not limited to creative campaigns, internal activations, and brand partnership opportunities.
- Performance Measurement: Collect affiliate feedback, monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, website visits), and report on localization and adoption outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- 7+ years experience in international marketing, brand management, or campaign localization

- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborator leadership skills
- Ability to lead multi-functional teams and run multiple projects simultaneously
- Technical proficiency in consumer marketing, digital campaign tracking, and analytics
- Fluency in English; additional language skills preferred

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$127,500 - $187,000
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).Lilly reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate its compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion and Lilly’s compensation practices and guidelines will apply regarding the details of any promotion or transfer of Lilly employees.
