Summary:

Leading, coaching, and strategically guide the team in achieving optimal formulary inclusion as a market access, and commercial success across the public accounts. Ensuring the alignment for brand strategies, and customer engagement, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and sustaining Lilly’s strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and health authorities in Saudi, Bahrain and Oman.

  1. Team Management & Development:
  • Coach and mentor team in strategic account planning, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify development opportunities to build future leaders.
  • Foster a high-performance/high integrity culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Define and communicate the strategic vision for the team.
  • Ensure alignment of team strategies with the affiliate goals and the brands strategies.
  1. Market Access & Policy Navigation:
  • Lead the design and execution of access action plans across priority accounts.
  • Adapt ARS mindset to accelerate access to new innovations to KSA market.
  • Full accountability for ensuring prompt inclusion in public sector formularies, to support our vision for accelerating reach & scale.
  • Guide the team through complex healthcare policy landscapes at national and local levels.
  • Lead payer segmentation and archetype strategy development to tailor engagement and deliver the value proposition.
  • Lead high-level engagements with policy influencers and advocacy groups.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as the primary liaison between the team and entire cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication & partnership with internal cross-functional teams in each business units.
  • Establishing the strategies and executed tailored plans for each therapeutic area.

Commercial Oversight & Forecasting:

  • Oversee accounts level forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Accurate forecast across all brands supported by right assumptions to support achieving corporate objectives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with key health entities and decision-makers.
  • Monitor formulary threats and lead mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the business reviews by monthly reporting and the access process strategies.
  • Timely and proper reporting to PRA lead and KSA LT on access and performance status.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders on the national level, including the clinical pharmacists, payers, planners, P&T and tender committees.
