We have an exciting opportunity to join our Employee Health Services (EHS) team in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the implementation and delivery of employer‑based health and wellbeing services under the collaboration and direction of Employee Health Services physician leadership. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers direct patient care to employees for on‑site emergencies, work‑related injuries and illnesses, episodic personal care, medical health surveillance examinations, preventive examinations, and chronic disease management.

This role is primarily located at the Lilly Kenosha site but there may be a rare opportunity to support other Lilly‑supported clinics or services as business needs dictate. The role may also support primary care service delivery, depending on site needs and program evolution. Job responsibilities may vary and adapt over time to meet the needs of the business unit.

The APP is expected to provide excellent customer service to employees and internal business partners while supporting a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.

Hours

Full‑time (40 hours/week), worked as part of a schedule that meets the needs of the business. This role includes occasional telephonic on‑call support for evening and weekend medical operations. Call requirements may vary based on site and operational needs.

Ways You’ll Contribute

  • Protect the health and well‑being of employees through the provision of high‑quality healthcare as an Advanced Practice Provider.
  • Deliver occupational and non‑occupational clinical care, including episodic care, chronic disease management, preventive care, and medical surveillance.
  • Liaison with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professionals to ensure appropriate care delivery and management of workplace hazards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to manage occupational and personal injuries and illnesses to appropriate resolution.
  • Respond to on‑site medical emergencies and provide first aid for job‑related injuries and non‑work‑related illnesses.
  • Support first aid, safety, and emergency response programs at the site.
  • Assist management with quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the professional development of EHS clinical staff.
  • Support clinical and administrative tasks as delegated by EHS leadership.
  • Responsibilities may vary and adapt to meet evolving business, site, and employee health needs.

Key Objectives

  • Utilize evidence‑based practices to assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for a variety of ambulatory care complaints, including both occupational medicine and personal care needs.
  • Deliver evidence‑based occupational medicine services in collaboration with Employee Health Services physicians on complex cases.
  • Prescribe medications and devices within scope of practice and approved collaborative agreements.
  • Provide follow‑up care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Support annual preventive screenings, health surveillance examinations, and wellness initiatives.
  • Educate employees on health behaviors, self‑care, and treatment options tailored to individual needs.
  • Coordinate referrals for personal illness and injury, considering employee location and cultural needs.
  • Ensure compliance with medical, regulatory, privacy, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
  • Support communicable disease management, reporting, and public health coordination.
  • Promote company wellbeing programs and serve as a resource for lifestyle and chronic disease interventions.
  • Support immunization programs, including flu and travel‑related immunizations.
  • Serve as a liaison to HSE, OSHA recordkeeping partners, and nurse case management.
  • Adapt clinical focus and responsibilities as required to support site‑specific and business‑unit priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Nursing or Physician Assistant graduate.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
  • National certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Current State of Wisconsin license (or ability to obtain) with prescriptive authority
  • Willingness to obtain medical licensure in additional states as needed to support U.S.‑based employees
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to

F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in primary care is preferred
  • Prior experience in occupational medicine is preferred
  • CPR for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Ability to obtain ACLS certification prior to assignment start date
  • Ability to obtain NIOSH Spirometry certification prior to assignment start date
  • Ability to obtain CAOHC Hearing Conservationist certification prior to assignment start date
  • Experience using electronic health records
  • Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$127,500 - $187,000

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
