Team Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Product Owner to join our Investment Management
- Equities team and help deliver the next generation of digital trading experiences and capabilities for our branch teams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Equity Trading domain expertise, including a deep understanding of end-to-end equity order management processes and Order Management Systems (OMS). Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
This role is focused on leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative equity trading capabilities. Operating at the intersection of business strategy and technology, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing our digital product ecosystem. What You'll Do
As a Senior Digital Product Owner, you will be accountable for one or more critical product platforms and responsible for driving product outcomes that deliver measurable value to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary product team to deliver high-impact business and customer outcomes.
- Partner with the Product Manager to translate strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives across near-term and long-term horizons.
- Define, maintain, and communicate product plans, including requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, resource needs, success metrics, and business outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in equity trading and order management while applying Product Management and Design Thinking principles to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology organizations to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful delivery.
- Influence and lead matrixed teams through effective coaching, mentorship, and collaboration, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence.
- Support the growth and development of team members by providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional advancement.
- Partner with adjacent product teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and execution of broader departmental and enterprise strategies.
- Champion the product vision and ensure all work aligns with strategic business goals and customer needs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or a related product leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Equity Trading, including end-to-end order management workflows and trading operations.
- Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and related trading technologies.
- Broad and deep understanding of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results within a matrixed organization.
- Strong product management, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and deliver business outcomes.
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to build effective relationships and work across all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Product-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and customer focus.
- Passion for delivering innovative digital experiences and creating measurable business value through technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Investment Management industry experience.
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
- Agile certifications.
Work Location Expectations
Candidates who live within commuting distance of the St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
