Want a seat at the table where key business decisions are made? The Firm Portfolio Management Office (FPMO) partners directly with senior leadership to prioritize, coordinate, and deliver the firm's most critical initiatives. In this role, you'll influence strategic direction, connect teams across the organization, and help drive successful execution of transformational work. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, balancing business priorities, enabling informed decision-making, and helping teams focus on what matters most.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of associates and contractors who will drive project execution, organizational change, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives that support key business goals.
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver the enterprise epic that support the portfolio
- Responsible for portfolio stakeholder management
- Remove obstacles, manage risks, and keep the portfolio on track.
- Will follow lean portfolio management principles
- Use data and insights to measure success and guide decision-making.
- Communicate progress, results, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Current Internal home-based associates please note: Even as a campus-based posted role you are eligible to apply and, if selected, you may retain your home-based status. However future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work and some roles may carry a preference for campus-based presence.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of relevant portfolio, program, or project management experience
- Expertise in Lean Portfolio Management and agile ways of working
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to manage complex portfolios.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and build trust quickly across broad matrix teams
- Exceptional executive level communication skills
- Experience with enterprise project management or agile tools, plus knowledge of governance and financial processes
Preferred:
- 5+ years of leadership and business strategy experience preferred
- PMP or Agile certifications (Lean Portfolio Management) or equivalent experience preferred.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
