Job Overview
The Advisory Trading Oversight team is responsible for trading controls and exception oversight for the firm's Advisory Solutions Fund, Guided Solutions Fund, and Investment Advisory Programs. The primary team functions support Home Office Trading, rebalancing, client-initiated allocation and model changes, trade completeness and controls, ineligible assets trading, and tax loss harvesting enrollment and oversight. Responsibility Summary:

• Develop and apply strong subject‑matter expertise with a clear understanding of business objectives, operational processes, and downstream client and branch impacts.
• Plan, execute, and partner with key stakeholders on projects and enhancements, including new product launches and upgrades to existing tools, to ensure business needs are met.
• Lead and support testing activities for enhancements and upgrades, including identifying, tracking, escalating, and helping resolve issues using sound judgment and established controls.
• Analyze exception reports, data, and complex information both qualitative and quantitative to identify trends, risks, and required actions, leveraging data to inform recommendations and decisions.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance controls, reduce risk, and streamline or eliminate inefficiencies, taking initiative to support implementation of meaningful improvements.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, leaders, branches, product partners, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues, support escalations, and build strong working relationships.
• Share knowledge, provide guidance, and support the development of associates through coaching, feedback, and collaboration.
• Ensure work is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with firm risk and control processes

Internally this position is considered an Advisory Trade Oversight specialist
Must be able to work either CST hours or EST hours

Skills/Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• 4+ years of experience in a financial services environment (or equivalent) required
• Strong industry knowledge including an understanding of rules and regulations and how they impact the business area
• Must have proven problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills
• Must have the ability to proactively identify risks and design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• High level of learning agility
• Experience working in Excel and utilizing macros and formulas

What Could Set You Apart:

• Previous experience with Advisory programs
• Series 7 license
