The Global Buyer Hub (GBH) team is dedicated to creating a seamless, personalized, and locally relevant shopping journey for e Bay buyers worldwide. We support more than 150 markets and 11 languages, ensuring global consistency while delivering experiences that reflect local expectations, cultural nuances, and buyer preferences.
To amplify our impact, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Buyer Experience who will play a crucial role in developing the strategy, programs, and execution across buyer preference management and site localization.

Job Responsibilities

Support the Buyer Experience strategy for GBH, with a focus on buyer preference, personalization, and localized site experiences that drive growth and retention

Develop and execute in collaboration with the Product Team the localization roadmap, ensuring that content, navigation, onsite features, and end-to-end workflows are culturally relevant, linguistically accurate, and optimized for each market

Own the buyer preference framework, defining how we capture, manage, and operationalize buyer choices to create more tailored, high-value shopping journeys

Partner closely with Product, UX, Marketing, Trust, CS to identify and prioritize experience gaps, develop solutions, and deliver enhancements that improve overall buyer satisfaction

Oversee performance reporting and insights, including analytics, market performance reviews, and executive-level presentations, ensuring clear visibility into impact, opportunities, and progress.

Collaborate with international partners across regulatory, legal, content, and monetization functions to ensure localized experiences meet operational, compliance, and commercial requirements.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Buyer Experience, Localization, Product Operations, International Operations, or similar fields—preferably in a global, digital-commerce environment.

  • Strong background in international market dynamics, customer journey optimization, and cross-market experience design.

  • Exceptional communication skills in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.

  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with proven experience influencing and partnering across Product, Marketing, Operations, and regional teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • High personal initiative, strong ownership mindset, and a passion for e Bay’s mission and for understanding customer needs.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C**$129,200** - C**$172,500**

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
