Required Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in server-side development in Java
• 3+ years' experience in managing teams (8-12 people), while still doing some hands-on coding
• Experience with design and implementation of microservices
• Experience with Spring framework
• Experience with OO design and design patterns
• Experience in building Restful services
• Experience with databases
• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• Experience in working with agile development methodologies
• Team player that can work and support internal and external teams
• Mentoring and influencing peers, juniors and senior developers both within the organization and across e Bay
• Flexibility and passion to learn new domains
• Experience in writing user stories based on architecture and software requirements
• Experience in debugging and resolving complex production issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Major experience in multi-threading development
• Experience with Kafka in microservices environment
